All kinds of agreements can be reached in RE related areas as well.We also kick around many legal aspects of RE in the forums, financing issues, landlord-tenant law, title issues and other things that can get you in trouble if you're ill advised.Most in RE that I see on BP are new, I'd have to say getting legal advice in forums is a big mistake, while we may have seasoned investors who have been doing things for years, we all fail to keep in mind at times that all RE is local.Most seek advice as they seem to think they can't afford an attorney.

Also I am not aware that section 8 allows you to "inherit" vouchers.Since she submitted an application, check all of her reference information and previous landlords, at least 3.

They are paying $450 a month for a 2/2 and the landlord hasn't raised rent on them for years - at the same time, the landlord didn't do anything to maintain the property and just let it rot.I think when someone stays that long, they are no longer "tenants" they become "fixtures".

Here up north, where it's a bit colder, the law requires landlords to heat to 68 degrees F if landlord supplies heat.
