You also have to actually enjoy that person's company, and have casual common interests; otherwise you're just business associates LOL So my intent was not to convey that I only talk to people I can use, but rather I DON'T talk to people if we can't share a mutual level of growth.

I'm interested in the same thing so I'd enjoy hearing about it if you don't mind.

This is a long, regulatory question and issue as to why we do it this way, but in short, it doesn't cost millions to get SEC registered and it has allowed us, and many like us, to start our companies and offer these products online.Lending Club issues unsecured consumer loans (think credit card refis, car purchases, vacations, etc. -- anything you may need money for, up to $35K) and they have recently begun offering small business loans as well.

The business of the company is buying, fixing and selling real estate, and capital is used to conduct business (buying & fixing), I am just growing my business, not really enjoying any income (except for the "fair market salary" for the S-Corp owner).
