New to REI and just wanted to say hello....

Hello, my name is Ed Marcinov and I am new to REI and Biggerpockets. As with most people, I have had an interest in getting into real estate investing for quite a while, but never understood just how to go about doing so. Found the Biggerpockets website, started listening to podcasts and felt compelled to join and get involved. From reviewing some of the posts online I saw that there is a local REI meetup in Lake Forest this Wednesday evening and I will be attending. In the short time that I have been on the site, I have been impressed with the amount of information available and the willingness of the membership to share their experiences with others who share the same goals. Looking forward to getting out there and getting involved. Thank you for your time....
