They want $15k and it's on 1.75 acres, they classify it as 'lakefront' property for some reason even though it's really on some little dried up pond (or so it really looked like) to me.I got more info + pictures on this property at the bottom of the post.

If you do, don't put carpet in the basement until you are absolutely sure it's dry after heavy rains and use mold resistant dry

This is for MLS listed properties.Something like a plumbing leak or loose handrail is easy to spot and pretty cut and dry, I wouldn't bother bringing in an inspector or contractor for it, just specify the repair be made before closing, you get a price reduction, ignore it and repair after closing or get a credit at closing for the repair.

Not much goes on until Memorial Day when the tourists come back and the trails dry out for hiking, biking, etc.You can usually get a premium if you rent just for the ski season but just a couple hundred or so and then you run the risk of having it empty for a couple months in the spring.
