I dont know the balance on the note or the monthly payments but it was rented for 1500. so I am assuming he isnt a total bone head and made some $$ on the rent so it has to be lower than 1500.00.

Real estate investing is not a difficult or complicated business, but failing to understand the realities of the business, cash flow issues, expense issues, etc will lead to almost certain failure (which is exactly what happens to the majority of new real estate investors).For example, I get stuff in the mail almost every day from one guru or another.

To add real value to the rental market, someone has to be responsible and professional to the tenants -- sometimes that pendulum swings towards the property owner and sometimes towards the management mechanism.One of the overall points one can draw from this thread is that it's difficult to find a PM company that fits your personality and performs as expected.

i recently had the same thing happen to me. i owed 14000 on on my truck they wanted to give 9000 on my trade . the advice they gave me was to pay more each month on my note to bring the balance down faster .i hope this helps .
