Hey all,

I've been lurking this site for a few months now. My family and I have been in real estate for a long time. My parents were involved in buying and renting 2 family homes here in NY. I tried my hand at it but with the cost of everything increasing in NY and income not increaseing at the same rate my 2 fam ended up costing me money every month. I could have just evicted both tenants and got new ones but it's the same game until you find the perfect set. They pay great for a while then start falling short or off all together.

Anyway I own my house I live in now and sold the 2 fam got a nice piece of change from it too. I'm here to get more info about making REI my career. I am currently a Manager of Information Systems and I am pretty much tired of IT, been at it for 8+ years now. It's time for a career change.

See you all around
