I've found that it is important to check in with my investors every once in a while if I haven't communicated with them in a while, and also check in with them after I have sent them a property that they didn't purchase. 

I'd prefer to find out from the first communication that they don't have their you-know-what together rather than get further down the pipeline to discover that fact. 

Not everything needs to be a confrontation, but clear respectful communication can go a long way.
