Hi @Ellie Narie,You are correct that if the average stay is less than 7 days it does not qualify as a rental activity, so it must be reported on Schedule C. 

Hello all,I currently own and actively manage a 5 unit property located in Bronx NY, and I would like to refinance and invest in another rental property.

As you can see I don't really seek money, but rather experience; I, myself, may even lose money doing this.

What advice are you seeking? 

For years, I tricked myself into thinking (just like the majority of the population) that I needed to go to college get a degree and seek a good paying job to be even semi-successful.

However I’m only actively investing in Memphis, TN and Chicago, IL at the moment. 

I'm heading to Mobile end of this month to research the area, and would love to connect with property managers and agents. I also would love to hear people's feedback on the best up and coming areas.
