Shortcuts cause pain and can cost thousands.  

Our first auction deal was last year and we got really lucky as the house needed little work and we were able to make a six figure profit out of it (before paying our partners most of it).Our second deal (our current one) we paid a bit too much at the auction as one of our partners got a bit excited with the bidding and went too far in his bidding.  

There may be some more options that would work and solve all of your problems!  

Buying a home that needs work and bring it up to a level that you are proud to be the owner is real good for the neighborhood as a whole. 

I have never used Betco.New construction certainly has some good potential but I shy away from it because the earth work and site development costs are usually so great that 20,000 sq. ft. or so of storage is required right off the bat in order to get to the critical mass required to cover the cost of development.  

Once I start having a steady income from work and I'm able to stay in one location, I'll resume investing in real estate with slightly more aggressive approach.I don't have much desire to flip houses, I'm more interested in long term buy and hold wealth accumulation.

So be encouraged, put in some hard work and keep your eyes, ears and mind open.
