I figure this could be a LLC based in Nevada so no state tax or rate limits (I'm in CA), but maybe a C-corp so it's straight 1099 income for the investors.One possible issue is I believe there are some limitations on second mortgages now a days...

RyanI do not know the Michigan market place, but there is no way you can buy anything in Southern California for $900,000 and get $15,000 a month rent.

@JonK We relocated to Orange County CA from an area that was highly dependent on the construction industry, and when the market crashed unemployment etc. skyrocketed to around 18%.
