There are still areas where you can buy units for $200k/ door but they require a lot of work usually and covering all operating expenses and interest payments can be challenging base on low-ish rent levels in some places.

How would you screen high quality tenants based on what criterial; credit score?

Started listening to Marco Santarelli's Passive Real Estate Investing Podcast How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

I've listened to enough podcasts to KNOW that I have to build the team first before EVEN putting a contract on a property.

As of now I’m listening to the “BiggerPockets” the podcast and I just started since the first episode and it just made me have more motivation to accomplish my goals  I am in the process of currently changing my major from Marketing to Finance and Real Estate and I would highly appreciate any type of advice, that any of you have. 

Not only are you new to lending, but - even if it was a secured loan - I"m guessing based on the amount it'd be in second position.
