Only a cashier's check for the amount of arrears, quoted in writing, properly delivered to the proper entity by the cutoff date, brings the loan current.Anyway, I don't think I have ever bought an investment property from the MLS.

How to reach an asset manager..Hire a private investigator to find out who they are, what office they work out of and the name of their executive secretary.Have the investigator find out what organization(s) or clubs the manager belongs to, show up at one of their meetings as a true believer who has fortuitiously "bumped into them".Try sending a big bouquet of flowers to the executive secretary along with a singing telegram person who will deliver your message and hand him or her some ballons and a bottle of good wine with your compliments and business card.

I would think you could easily prove you were in fact an "owner" simply by changing your address to that location and having mail and bills delivered there while you were working on the project.Until I learn more I'm going to operate under the thought that if the law is not specific enough to tell me what I am classified as and does not let me know of the penalties I could face, then the law is unenforceable.

(I'm a licensed TEXAS agent)Make sure the offer includes some sort of 'sign for reciept' for the Seller, to insure the agent delivers the letter.From that point, it is up to the Seller and what they want to tell you about their personal loan info.If the agent does not present to letter, call his 'broker' and ask for the head guy.
