Go to local REI club meetups weekly/monthly (make it consistent), contact those specific professionals/investors via online channels and connect with them (send them a message and ask to go out for coffee or lunch).

It does get easier the more you do it.I would also highly recommend Matt Faircloth's "Raising Private Capital" book as it outlines every step you need to take to become a money-raising machine.
