@Karen Braddy I would recommend a pet deposit for each pet the tenants has because my experience they are great until the tenant moves out and they leave you with the smell which is sometimes difficult to get rid of.

Hotel and motel owners (and other small companies) save a lot more, because they have such large portfolios with a LOT of write-offs. some of your properties may not offer a lot in savings- but if they don't, they will tell you it's not worth doing- no harm, no foul.
