For the 25% of the time that I need to travel and work in the state that the business operates can I rent out the property under the conditions of a conventional loan?

I would have to have the current tenants move.I retired earlier this year and will probably relocate or travel if things calm down with COVID.

They are working guys that travel without women.

I frequently travel back and forth (about an hour) to check on things, collect rent, and participate in HOA meetings.

We travel to almost all of South Jersey.

Last year my husband and I traveled for 8 months straight and stayed in tons of Airbnbs.

I don’t think he typically goes to the Jersey City area but he does travel for larger projects.He has done work for me in the past and it came out great.

@Cole Oraham TAMU has announced a hybrid model but I worry about all the international students that will have travel restrictions, or parents that won't allow students to return, or even worse sick professors (generally older and at much higher risk).
