I have read several books including: the rich dad poor dad series, ABC's to real estate investing, BiggerPockets The Book on Rental Property Investing, and am getting ready to start The Book on Investing in Real Estate with Low or No Money Down.  

Sleeping at night, and not worrying about problems (upset tenant, arguing over maintenance, vacancy on a unit and needing to make a mortgage payment, etc...) can be priceless!

I'd like to ask you Don if you could shed more light on the ABCs of Crowdfunding and how we as Real Estate investors can participate.

And it's like the twilight zone, the more you argue with them and prove them wrong, the more they dig in their heels and refuse to listen.

If that is true that it is virtually impossible for anything of the sort to still be hidden then I would argue that there is nothing to hide which means that the foundational beliefs your father held and you now hold are just not accurate.

I didn’t argue because we’ve been trying to buy this house for 6 months and have had tons of setbacks and I didn’t want to rock the boat.

No reason to argue about it.

I would argue that, along with the politicians, these groups also do not understand the impact on tenants.  

I would argue that anything under these minimal expectations probably isn't even habitable and wouldn't attract a non section 8 tenant.

I would actually argue it is unethical to NOT raise rent.
