Those are the important questions to answer before getting too far ahead of yourself.Also, are you certain there's feasibility and ability to navigate the regulatory environment to get this work done? 

It just may be that a house hack is not feasible.

The other property I would be able to get from secured line of credit from my properties.My question is has ANYONE ever baught 2 apartment complexes at the same time and if so is it feasible?.

Home Is now a 2bedroom 1 bath full basemsnt wIth huge 1 car attatched garage for the lower and a 2bedroom 1 bath apartment for the upper with massive open attIc wIth staIrs for storage.

This year I'll add coin op washer/dryer and rentable storage lockers in back. 

There is room for storage in the attached garage and plenty of privacy in the fully-fenced backyard with a concrete patio.

@Elvis Sosa as was mentioned, for BRRR deals you're either going to bring all the cash (which doesn't sound feasible) or use a HML.

Credit score says a lot about a person and how responsible they are with their financial life unfortunately in low income areas that is metric not a feasible screening method simply because in these areas most everyone has poor or no credit .

I'd also be open to storage units, boat or RV storage, etc., pretty much anywhere.My wife is starting to get impatient about the condition of the exterior of our personal residence, so I may tend towards doing some quick flips and pulling some of the profits out for that (it's a 2-family, so I can at least write off part of the work).I guess that leaves me narrowing down to BRRRR, flips, or storage units somewhere far enough away from Boston as to still be profitable.

Would it be feasible to look into franchising in a market I don't live near?
