Ideas on how to make my primary (acreage) profitable?

Here's what we've thought of doing (not real estate related though): Raising small-medium livestock, farming herbs and veggies, building a grow house to farm year round, growing microgreens (currently testing), raising chickens (currently doing), starting a u-pick farm (currently considering), building the property out for farm/homestead tours (this is coordinated year round by our county)...Obviously none of these are real estate related, but just ways we though to utilize the land.

Walking a 4plex today

If they can't answer all the questions give them the list and kindly ask them to get you the answers you want. When I bought my first multi-family (4-plex) the PM and the owner (two different people) collectively answered pretty much all the questions I had (and I had a lot of questions as I was new to real estate).Aside from the obvious (rents) I also ask how long each tenant has lived there, as well as what needs repaired (it's more of a test - when that question is answered honestly I'm more likely to trust).

Upstairs tenant overflowed tub, insurance won't pay

Make sure the slot is clear and the drain behind it is open.If all is well with that, then try reducing the water flow rate to the unit by turning down the main water valve so less water comes out of the tub faucet (and all faucets) and the overflow can handle the problem. Then test it to make sure the inflow to the tub equals the outflow by they overflow.Good Luck!
