Middle to Upper Class individuals are moving into areas in Brooklyn that a few short years ago were absolutely undesirable for the reason you mentioned.I would be lying to you if the idea of relocating altogether hasn't crossed my mind....multiple timed.

My wife and I made the choice to start investing in real estate and this first duplex was a simple easy way to drop our living expenses to start saving for bigger better deals.

I suspect this is more for passive cap gain type stuff.. not ordinary income for those in the industry.. and or might work for the private individual who does this totally passive IE a broker brings them a note..

Is your plan to buy individual units, or entire mobile home parks?

I'm not sure where to find  trustworthy lender, whether I should own and finance properties as an LLC vs individual with umbrella insurance, etc. 

It feels absolutely empowering to know that there are sooooo many like-minded individuals looking to secure their financial future in the art of real estate investing. 

It's a multiple choice test.

My point is that if skyscrapers is your niche of choice, don't expect to close many deals.
