This will vary based on how far your structure is from the connection but a rough estimate would be nice.You may want to call the public works division, I imagine they have to hookup the actual connections to the city service.

However, you will be required to file a non-resident state tax return in the states that you own the properties.Proximity of your accountant isin't as important as getting the right accountant who understands real estate taxation.

I only found this out when the water was cut off by the city for non-payment and the other tenant complained about not having water.
