I am writing today because I have found what I think to be some great opportunities for wholesale deals where I live (Chilliwack, British Columbia Canada) but I am unsure of how to acquire them.They are not listed, I am basically intending to do a "cold" approach and either knock on their door myself, use a persuasive realtor to phone them or maybe even a flier advertising cash for homes?

So you better have a $5,000 budget for each home to get them renovated and RTOed to somebody new (and be advertising on CraigsList all the while, and have a good website that showcases each home, etc.).Good luck, and let us know how it goes,-Jefferson-

If its a single with a stable tenant, I would recommend trying it yourself with some caveats. 1) Use cozy.co to make everything electronic. 2) have a list of contractors or an emergency number for the tenant to call in case of an electrical/plumbing/HVAC emergency.
