I have knowledge of the Greater Houston real estate market but lack knowledge in several key areas of investing.

These requirements are not rocket science, but they are procedural requirements where mistakes could void all of the protection you gained by forming the LLC in the first place.As for the cost of forming an LLC, $2000 seems very high.
