To add insult to injury, if you installed that equipment three or more years ago, be it a remote for a ceiling fan or a window AC unit, or whatever, the remote is custom designed to that particular model -- which they don't make anymore! 

I've been a Buildium customer for years now and I find it to be pretty intuitive.

I wanted doors to contain the sound, but it really hasn't been an issue.Here is another consideration that I haven't heard mentioned yet...HVAC. 

Sabrina's customer service is by far some of the best I have dealt with in this type of industry.

While these aren't perfect by any stretch they are "contained".  

Managing employees, hiring/firing, selling projects, dealing with customer issues, etc was an extremely useful experience and prepared me for RE.

Pro:-  customer service reps.

Those operators who nickel and dime their customers, provide terrible service, and place greed above their customer's experience will lead many municipalities to begin enforcing rules and regulations. 

Realtors will post their properties for sale where their customers are looking.
