You'll hear all the horror stories about how they steal money, allow tenants to manufacture drugs in your basement, never check on the property, etc.

If your starting off a relationship with a new tenant by hiding your identity, then how can you expect your tenants to be truthful towards you.

I know someone who had a triplex up in Piscataquis county, had trouble finishing his rehab because people would watch materials and things being dropped off in the building, and would go uninstall and steal it overnight.

Planning to build a fourplex (3/2 identical units, 2 up 2 down) that will gross $4800/mo.

They will require proof of identity.

 $121k is a steal!

But it's quite another thing to bold-faced steal from someone. 

Value of properties now is identical to 10 years ago.
