First deal got stalled w IRS Lien. Help!
Thought I cleared up a past tax issue over a year ago, but the IRS never did officially release the lien. I heard that some banks will work w you before you get the letter of release. I know that I can get a release in 30 days from IRS but seller may not be that merciful as we were supposed to close in 3 days. Has anyone seen a bank work with this situation, such as a pledge account or increase the loan amount? I only owe $16k to IRS.
