Hey Wayne, go to the courthouse during auctions and hand out bussiness cards, you can also attend Karen Rittenhouse's dealmaker sessions, they happen the first Tuesday of every month at the airport Marriot at PTI, it's totally free to attend, I just went to one yesterday.

It’s important that you try and find a mentor to learn the ropes of the business.

I have a mentor who has found tremendous success from flipping,renting and investing down here.

Once we know what your goal and strategy are then we can easily identify what deals match.Make sure you do this, ask for a strategy session before you do anything is my belief... good luck

Without mentors or a support system if something comes up or if they aren't able to make a meeting, then having a backup within the company is a huge plus. 

Hi,I am just starting off right now in New York City.I was wondering if there were any Local Clubs that have really help you out that I can check out to establish relationships such as a mentor and mentee.

I was able to start by buying my first single family rental with "0" down but I had to meet my mentor, work for free for several months and he then introduced me to a private lender that I still use today!
