I am planning on participating in an auction to purchase a house through a Tax Deed.The comparable for houses sold in the area shows the house could be sold for 220K after the title is clean and repairs are done to the house.The House has liens worth 190K due to code violations.I have contacted the city and was informed that the violations could be negotiated down if approved by a judge. 

I chose not to participate in that.

Question 3:  Is all of the knowledge needed to  pursue any of the careers mentioned in #1, exclusively found in the classroom (paid for), or is it supplemented and enhanced continuously after you have "paid" you dues?

Once I receive the certificate, I can take it to a participating lender.

@Robert Lindsley - it's not good at all.First of all, pictures must be flattering, use some simple enhancing - light, cropping etc.

Tax rates for higher-bracket individuals and a long list of “extenders” provisions such as the child tax credit, the enhanced education credits and the optional deduction for state and local sales tax, hang in the balance.

A deal is useless unless you have the money to participate in it.
