I found a foreclosed unit in the complex where I'm renting (on this site) and I would love to buy it.

He signed a standard lease in a 400 unit complex and arranged for all of the delivery trucks, electrical, cable/internet installations for the first day of the lease.

BP'ers we are working on syndicating a 74 unit apartment complex in Cincinnati.  

The tail waters from the plant is ran through drip irrigation on our complex underground.

They typically have access to different types of training related to managing complexes and are a network of local investors and management companies.Good luck!

And like some people have said above, starting with a duplex or triplex in a decent neighborhood would be a lot easier to start off with than an apartment complex or a complete tear down.

I plan on starting out small, buying a duplex/triplex/quadplex and slowly building my portfolio over the next decade plus.I don't have much of a real estate background, most of my experience comes from my family owning a small apartment complex.

@Conway Churamanwell you still havent said what your goals are, for me I would take a complete a flip, prob have about 50k when done, depending on my goals, I would rinse and repeat, growing this money, then JV with others who did all the work and let me have 1/2 the profit, or I could take and put as downpayment for a smaller complex giving my cashflow.

You can get about the same cap rate  but it is harder to find as there are fewer apartment complexes than houses.
