Every time I read the anti-california commentary, I always imagine a million collective eye rolls from all the lurkers who can't be bothered to respond and explain what a different investment world it is in our neck of the woods.

If your lease doesn't say anything about a fine for unauthorized animals, then I wouldn't bother with it. 

  $350 is insanely low rent and I'm not sure I would want to bother with a property bringing in that low of rent (think of the tenants you are leasing to). 

Having said that, this is not the first time that BP Podcast is presenting  false figures and not bothering to correct them, even after some comments clearly call them on their BS numbers.

I almost do not even bother with Saratoga county because of how bloated their prices are and yes Albany has a solid renter base but when I am evaluating most properties, based on how they are being listed I am often finding 5-6 CAPS vs Schenectady where consistently in "decent" areas I am finding 9-11 CAPS?
