Interested to hear thoughts on this deal on a 1bd/1.5ba 930 sq ft Spanish colonial condo in sunny Santa Barbara listed for 658k.  

Does a house in the nieghborhood with the same square feet/bedrooms make a comp?

Because of that, the majority of people here prefer detached lifestyle (SFR) except in the luxury apartment and condo market downtown.

It is a 1 bedroom condo in a growing area close to down town so has had decent appreciation over the small 1.5 year time, not including my own rehabs.

I personally prefer condos, duplexes, triplexes, etc.

We have owned it for almost 3 years, with very good cash flow, but have recently discussed converting into condo's and selling as individual units due t my relocation out of state.  

The number of them is actually shrinking as they get carved up into condos. 

Hi All, My fiance and I invest in condos in Jersey City and we have had a lot of success since starting in 2015. 

They had major issues with lead times and hitting their deliveries which was annoying, but we have also experienced an issue with the large sliding window in our master bedroom (seems a seal exposure/draft issue) already within a year or so.So I won't be buying Crestline again, maybe not fair but that's my data point...

@Cameron Riley I live in Toronto, Canada and during the Great Recession I purchased a number of condos and SFH in Phoenix, AZI still have them today
