I do not have trouble renting them except in the winter- and then its hard with the three-bedrooms as well.

The holidays are a terrible time to find new tenants and it is only short term, to get you through to summer.

Squirrels are known to gather nuts before the Winter so they obviously have an instinctive advantage for those that don't.I also taught REI from approximately 2005 to 2013.

You may also be responsible to re-winterize the house.If you see signs of freeze damage and the boiler looks like a rust bucket .. then there probably is no need to turn on the water.

Hello BP,Now that things are slowing down for the winter, my partner and I are looking to do a flip (or a BRRRR).

The porch is cold in winter regardless of windows.The current windows are functional.  

I have several other prospects,  but in this off-season, nobody wants to do any business until after the holidays..
