I have wanted to get into the rental game for a very long time, my parents have never invested and have always lived paycheck to paycheck but I've always enjoyed doing something more than a "job", I prefer to "conquer" instead.

Prospecting is the name of the game so if you're not actively closing deals, it might make sense to just hire a dedicated agent when the time comes. The benefits to being an agent in your stage is networking with those other agents, lenders, inspectors, attorneys, contractors, etc that would be instrumental in helping you with your first deal.
