So far it doesn’t seem so likely.. condos are super attractive as they’re lower maintenance than an SFR (I travel a lot for work).

A row home to me might not be attractive to live in but to many people its completely normal.

Know your exit strategy going into the deal and best to give yourself a few alternatives.

You are lucky you live in Hong Kong.....go to ETrade, Schwab, Citibank, HSBC or one of the American banks there and open account...then they should be able to USD account either there or in US branch.An alternative is someone like Cathay Bank in USA. 

Since we are building from the ground up, what are some of the amenities that you would add that would make this future listing more attractive to vacationers?

In my experience, the condition of the property is generally similar to the type of tenant it attracts.

However, even after taking into account the costs of a property manager, the returns are still attractive.

Highly attractive area for tenants, great amenities nearby, easy commute downtown/uptown. 

Or anyone have suggestions of alternative routes to the normal path most new brokers take to find a mentor? 

I think this is a very creative alternative because most people will wait until the last day."
