I have been looking on the north east parts of Detroit and West. 

Just looking through New West listings on the MLS today for a friend looking to move from a 2 to 3 bedroom was really appalling.

Area like of the west do cashflow better.

The other reason is to reach out to anyone that reads this in the West Michigan area that would like to meet up virtually or at a park (socially distance).

I'm in contract, the property is located in a small mid-west town and I've had a duplex rental there for 2 yrs which has been going well with property management in place.  

I moved from the west coast myself to get into real estate in a more affordable market - its been 5 years and I haven't looked back.

West side (Kessler park) isn’t too bad either. 

@Jasmine MayIn comparison the last one I bought out west here (April 2020) for $328k I put $37k in and it rents for $3200 monthly... so no, I certainly wouldn’t buy that unit.

But I am going to be doing a cross country trip with my family in September and wanted to see if there was a place on this site, or if people could inform me of events going on that I may be able to attend as I make my way from Boston, to the west coast.
