Or, is it smart to have your job, all your real estate, stocks and everything in one single country and at the whim of a single government?

I keep hearing about a crash or a correction in the real estate market.  

I am NOT interested in owning any more real estate (retired here man) so I had planned on just paying my 15% long term Capital Gains tax rate and moving on to my "safe money" retirement program of MYGA's / CD's and High yield Savings account / Bonds / some Stocks.

I have done wholesaling in the past (not in RE, but in reverse supply chain liquidation), and had to deal with a lot of unethical and dishonest sellers.

My wife are starting our real estate investing journey and we would like to scale up with multifamilies.

My real estate journey began in Pennsylvania as a homeowner and investor and was reignited when I moved to Atlanta, Georgia.
