That was a hassle because I had to be present for some reason... outside of that, it has felt more like an extra set of eyes inspecting my property than big brother mandating needless repairs.

It's true that in the Hi-Desert some properties are very remote and may present an additional challenge.

As for using lease options, if you know what you're doing they present an opportunity to control properties without ownership. 

Also presented the opportunity to do my first seller financing deal.
