The garage users have been advised that there is to be nothing in the garage spaces except cars.

My understanding is that in NC people use real estate attorneys rather than title companies.

Especially if you’re an end user planning on keeping it as a primary residence.

I have a high quality of work threshold, but still, an end-user is usually going to be pickier.Anyway, thanks again for the input.

Taking this approach seems like it will put me at a pretty serious disadvantage compared to other investors though - primarily from a volume perspective (i.e. investors closing 5, 10, or 15 deals a year would command more attention/preferential treatment than I would,  closing only 1 deal a year). 

Yeah I hate the conversations I have with the credit karma users who are like my score just dropped 20 points from all the mortgage lender inquiries. 

I'd love to get a four plex but those command higher prices ~ upwards of 450k
