I suppose one could trade their US dollars for other currencies but with all the world markets tied so closely together I'm not sure it would be of any benefit.

Just be warned that if you do not sell the deal and it falls through without a buyer, your Realtor will probably get a very bad taste and not want to tie any more up with you, it is their reputation as well as yours on the line.
