Anyone else read this book? I'm 1/3rd of the way through it and it blows my mind. This information should be common knowledge, but its not, and thats the scariest part...

I read this about 6 months ago after the prodding by my conspiracy theorist uncle. The historical context in the book is great and he goes to great lengths to describe how the Fed came into existence. Later on in the book he does some Stretch Armstrong level stretches to support what I think is a personal agenda for him to sell more books.

The currency system in this country is clearly being run terribly and I think we are in for some long-term, secular pain for some time to come. I don't subscribe to the philosophy that we are all dopes plodding along and the behest of some spooky cult run by Beranke or The Rothschilds though...silly stuff.
