In my opinion retiring is all about maximizing your streams of income.

That would be cool in a major tech hub like Austin where a co-working / co-living hybrid space would be appealing with a particular type of renter.

They may be able to provide you with a steady stream of referrals when it comes to customers who have used mobile homes for sale and wanting a new one from the dealership as an upgrade. 

Main streams seems to paint landlords as bad and as such people not interested in the industry may just completely overlook that some investors are smaller or new and this is their job and seem to forget they matter too.

Also, You can pay for services through list source, prop stream, reonomy, and many others.

I live in the Woodlands; I currently have 5 houses that are Turnkey (tenant occupied; selling as income stream); and I have 3 owner financing houses.. all in the Woodlands!

It gives you an additional stream of income (commissions) on every deal. 

We are towards the end of our military career (I did 10 years active + reserve, while hubs is just over 23 years). 

Our realtor suggested that instead of paying cash for the home, that we finance half or more and buy two or more rental properties to generate an income stream and that idea sent me down the road of considering homes as an investment to generate a return.

As everyone has already said this is truly a gold mine of information as well as a hub of like-minded individuals leaning on one another to grow us all.
