The industry is very difficult; you need skills to survive/succeed.

My skills are still very basic, I've helped my brother paint cabinets and do some flooring work.

It takes skill.  

manual labor-intensive jobs that have rendered me unable to work for the present moment (for the last year and a half), and while I have been reading and learning as much as I can about real estate, the fact of the matter is that this is a new skill that I am learning myself.

These decisions depend on your ability to manage the project or person overseeing your project, based on time availability skill level or combo of both.

There are power points that almost every career has: integrity, initiative, ingenuity, passion, enterprise, creativity, optimism, reliability, resiliency, team work, leadership, persistence and tenacity, As a newbie, I am choosing to spend a lot of time on my investing and real estate education building the skills necessary for me to be successful.

Less risk, probably more reward, allowing more informed decisions.In the mean time I've installed a nice fully equipped home gym in my home and have been working on improving my physical fitness, and have also been increasing my outdoor grilling skills (with the Covid thing, I've temporarily given up restaurants--I do miss Olive Garden though).So instead of slacking, I've simply focused a little more on lifestyle.Good Luck!  

Also I've found that I am most skilled off the court supervising as opposed to actually swinging the hammer, it's something I can do, it's just not the best use of my time.
