I took massive action but I know that I need to take a step back, see what I am doing wrong. 

Shouldn't the first step be to establish the intended end-state/goal which in turn will help inform the proper course of action?  

We discussed different REI strategies, wholesale deals, syndications, note investing, debated SFR vs. multi-family, raising capital (i.e. hard money, private, etc.) and reliable local contractors.More importantly, we all took action and showed-up.

After awhile I had told myself to make the jump and went ahead and got into action!

I haven't decided which is the best course of action but I think I'm on the right path.  

From everything I have read, the Law of the First Deal seems to be a consistently echoed message stating just take action!
