I am very new to the industry, to the point that I think I should start an LLC as a holding company.

I am currently under contract to purchase a new primary home for myself.

I am looking to see if another accountant would be better.

Or is it a trimmed down agreement (option to purchase)?

We currently max out our Roth 401k, Roth IRA, and $2k per month into our vanguard taxable account.

I’m in the process of searching for land in the Houston area to then build a 4-plex on it.The plan is to self-fund the purchase & construction, rent the units and cash out with a mortage.I like the idea of serving lower income families and therefore don’t shy away from section 8.This is the first time I do something like this, so I’m throwing it out there in hopes of hearing your thoughts and learning from your experience!

Anyone have tips for finding them and how to structure the deal to become lucrative for them as well?
