Only one application passed, but that person chose a different house in the end.An agent that’s part of the brokerage I used to purchase this house stated he observed houses take 4-6 weeks to rent out but were in week 7 now.Is this timeline and # of applications “normal” for lower city Hamilton?

For normal rental investments I use 5-8% depending on the area...it can be even higher for a house hack since you're just renting out bedrooms and potentially shared bathrooms to people.

The leases the tenants sign have a clause stating the landlord reserves the right to make improvements on the property and the construction will be during normal business hours.
