This might be a different scenario, but the thought is the same, we as a construction company can "assign" or "authorize" anyone to sign, transact contracts, just like you can when you pull permits, anyone can do it if you authorize them, you must execute a board resolution naming the individual and what he can do, his limits, etc, then it must be notarized and stamped, signed by secretary and president.

That's the whole point.They don't want to touch it because of how grey area it is and undefined.You have to find someone who is willing to put their stamp on the deal to get paid.Someone will be willing to do it if you call around enough.I would not want the risk falling on you.
