Most installations assign housing areas based on rank and then family size, so most service members, in the middle ranks and with families, feel there is a better value to live off post where they can more square footage for the same dollar.I have not served at every installation and I have only served on Army installations, so my information and observations may be skewed. 

After several years of observing, I've just started dabbling.

As for you article, since it was written by yourself I can only make my judgements and observations from what I already know. 

I'm from the countryside, but live in Music City now, and the real estate market has been fascinating to observe here in a growing city.

General observations:- Your insurance looks way low at $187.

Done properly, this forced appreciation is NOT based on speculation, it comes from buying properties right and fixing them right.Finally, it has been my observation and experience that wealth in Real Estate happens over decades, not in the short term.

My only slight difference in observation here is that people SAY there's risk and it's too expensive.
