One more point...South and mid west is still cheapest market in comparison to majority developed and developing countries. 100K price is unheard in Canada, Australia, UK, China & India ..Interest rate is all time lowStill looks like good time...!!!

It is a problem since 1) the family has been feuding over the property for the last 20 years, 2) the two owners listed on the county property appraiser website are deceased, 3) my living grandmother is listed in the will as a beneficiary to of the estate, and 4) paying the taxes won't guarantee that my grandmother and I have title, we would just be paying the taxes for an extended family member (living in Canada) to have access to the property.I am not afraid of attorney fees, I've worked with attorneys at a board level for several years at my last job in Australia.

Australia is already down 30-50%, Canada cities down 25%, China is way down, California offers are down at least 25%, New York is either already down and offers are at least coming in 25% off ask, volume is down almost everywhere, and in general I believe that Amazon's $2000 share price in Aug marked the top of the market, so it's over!

In Australia (28" of rain a year) we punched through the (limestone) rock to get artesian water & it made a significant difference to our financial viabilty as we were trucking it in.The last property I just bought up here has a well, & before the well was operational their 3 month City water bills were hitting $800.
