Hi, I am seeing two 3 unit buildings on Saturday in Irving Park (Chicago) and I wanted to get your guys thoughts on these numbers.

I had thought of that as a technique before, but i didnt follow thru because many of the pictures i noted thru looking up houses on google is that the image is often from 2014...and MAYBE it is still a vacant or abandoned (looking) house, but i figured that it could easily have changed hands by now, and i'd be doing it for nothing. 

I thought one house I was looking at was great, until my realtor told me a few things about the area.

I'm also looking at an A class in an exceptional A class area where the address is a premier location and people really want to be there.My thought is similar to yours: some people that can afford the units may lose jobs, but for the most part, the very upper class, trendy areas tend to attract a clientele that should be able to handle the next downturn.

I intend to pursue that one, but thought I should probably talk to at least 3 companies.
