How would you handle this case and future cases?

Tricky, to get people to move in, it would need to be accessible to transportation, town...but the city has not accepted them so much legally as a living space.  

Is there somewhere on my federal return where I could find this info? 

As others have pointed out the technology that exists in the space makes communication quite frankly one of the easiest parts of the business at this time and tenants as well as clients have grown accustomed to having quick and efficient communication options at their disposal. 

We are very thankful this happened as this initiated our love for real estate.
