For the person starting out, it takes time to achieve great success and that is why slow small steps can bring the best outcome.

I have paid cash for enough properties to achieve my base cash flow requirement. 

I haven't achieved this yet, and frankly speaking, I recently realized that working in such a 'wall street' type firm won't take me very close to my goal. 

This is important to you because it means we have flexibility and an understanding of what you're trying to achieve.

and also, does anyone have experience with replacing windows and whether or not that often involves custom sizes or if typical Home Depot style windows work.  

Fortunately, and I believe this whole-heartedly, real estate investing will provide the means to achieve all of these freedoms.
